Also called Cardwell Lily, this amaryllis relative is native to Southeast Asia and Australia. The attractive hosta-like leaves make a wonderful houseplant. Doesn't need a lot of light. Sometimes they bloom soon after planting, although we cannot guarantee this. Bulbs are large at aproximately 2 inches across. Leaves are used topically to treat boils in the Philippines, although we do not recommend medicinal use without consulting a healthcare professional. |
