These are crosses between Rhodophiala Advena and Rhodophiala Chilensis from Chile.  These are mixed seedlings and have bloomed in a range of color from orange/peach to yellow.  Sometimes a cherry toned one pops up.    The foliage has a blue glaucous cast, definitely different than your normal red oxblood strain. Likely these are not as cold hardy as the Rhodophiala Bifidia and will need protection from hard frosts.  These were grown for us in coastal California and we cannot yet say how they will do in the heat and cold of Arizona.

The bulbs are small size, but could bloom next year with a good growing season.  Some bulbs from the same batch of seedlings have already bloomed.  The small size is why the price is so low.  Limited Quantities.
