This Extreme Green Hippeastrum is very hard to find!  We were only able to get a few from a grower in Japan.  This species grows on trees in the wild, but it will also grow in chunky potting mix.  It has a fragrance similar to burnt plastic, and is sure to be a conversation piece.

The bulbs are fairly large for the species (although much smaller than large hybrids) and I expect they will bloom once they are established in their new location.  It is usually an autumn bloomer.
