Commonly called a Voodoo Lily because of its bizzare flowering habit and smell. The flower is actually quite lovely but is fly-polinated and stinky. It will bloom from the dry bulb in late winter without roots. After flowering these will send up large frilly leaf. It prefers some shade. It is quite easy to bring inside during its winter dormant season for storage until things warm up.

These bulbs are flowering size or very close too it (most of them are tennis ball size). In any case, I think the leaf is the most attractive part of the plant.
