Also called Spring Spider Lily.

Rare and hard to find in the bulb trade, these bulbs come from
along a ditch bank in East Texas.  It is related to the delightful South American beauty Ismene Festalis.  Lirisome sends up stalks of Fragrant flowers in late April early May.  These bueaty can thrive in many differents water situations and make great pond plants, as well as being drought hardy once established. Cold hardy in zones 7+.

Large blooming size bulbs.

Plant them 1-3 inches deeper than the top of the bulb.  They are ok in poorly drained areas, they can grow in up to 2 inches of standing water.  They like their soil to be consistently moist so the edge of a pond or stream is ideal.  Make sure they never dry out completely.  The should be give plenty of room to ( 6 inches on either side) as they tend to sprawl.
