Formerly thought to be a form of Gladiolus Byzantinus, this is now considered to be Gladiolus italicus Alba .  It was discovered and named 'Snowflurry' by Patty Allen in Texas.  It had been naturalized in an old garden but was otherwise lost to commerce.  We got our first bulb from Patty and thanks to wild multiplication we now have enough to share.  Help us make sure this is treasure is never lost again.

Bulbs are only very small cormels, but can attain blooming size after one year of good growth.

Cold hardy to zone 6, perhaps lower.
