Lupine is an ecellent palnt for rocky slopes.  Soak seeds 4-12 hour before sowing and keep watering area until you see sprouts, then let nature take it's course. These hardy plants are slow to germnate but once establised will re-seed themselves and require little or no care. Dies with first frost.
