In the north, this will perform best in a dry, well drained spot in full baking sun. In the south, some shade is best. They make excellent potted plants in colder zones. The bulbs are a bit small this year ( 2013) so we are selling them at a discount. Approximately 12 Cm in circumference. These do not always bloom the first year after planting.
