White with red stripes.  This is probably a vittatum hybrid rather than the original Hippeastrum species.  It certainly qualifies as an heirloom amaryllis since it has been preserved in the gardens of India for the last 150 years.  It performs wel for us in the garden, even with heavy clay and alternate drought and floods.

Bulbs are aproximately 2 inches across which should be blooming size or close to it.
