Mint is best grown in wet places. It preferrs some shade, but can survive in sun as long as it has constant moisture. It will spread to anywhere with enough water, so keep this in mind when selecting its location. To be on the safe side you may want to plant in a container or a garden spot enclosed by a concrete walkway. Luckily, in Arizona it usually doesn't spread too far because our water sources are limited.
Mint can be eaten fresh for an instant breath freshener. It can be brewed into a tea to releave stress. Mint can be used to flavor deserts and other dishes. The easiest and most common use is simply to rub the leaves and breath in the fragrance!
